Britton-Summers Funeral Home is INDEPENDENTLY owned and operated by David A. Pickering. David has over 20 years funeral service experience. He is a graduate of the New England Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in Boston and apprenticed for two years at a Boston funeral home. At age 20, David passed both the national and state boards becoming one of the youngest people in the state to become a licensed funeral director and embalmer. David worked for funeral homes in Franklin, Norwood, Attleboro and Brockton before taking over the Rand-Harper Funeral Home in 1997 and the Britton-Summers Funeral Home in 2008.
