ELEANOR B. GOGGIN

OAKHAM/MARLBOROUGH- Eleanor B. Goggin, 81, died on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at St. Mary Healthcare Center in Worcester. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Goggin.

Born in Grafton, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Pauline (Siciunas) Rebakas and was educated in Grafton schools.

Mrs. Goggin was employed as an assembler for many years at Digital Electronics in Marlborough prior to her retirement.

Eleanor was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Rutland and a former member of St. Luke the Evangelist Church in Westborough. She has resided in Worcester since 2007 previously living in Rutland, Oakham, Marlborough and Westborough.

She is survived by one son, John E. Goggin and his wife, Bonnie, of Northborough; four daughters, Catherine M. Corcoran of Rutland, Anna M. Badger of Ware, Barbara J. Brooks and her husband, Jeremy, of Worcester and Helen J. Cantillon and her husband, James, of Worcester; one brother, Russell Rebakas of Marlborough; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late George Rebakas and Blanche Varin.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 4, at 9:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial in St. Luke's Cemetery will be private.

Calling hours at the Britton-Summers Funeral Home, 4 Church St., Westborough, are Friday, April 3, from 4 to 7 P.M.
