John T. Tortora, 95, died Monday evening after a short period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Wahlstrom) Tortora who died in 2003. He was born in Boston, the son of the late Antonio and Francesca (Durando) Tortora and lived in Westborough for almost 65 years. For many years he worked as an auto mechanic for Dan's Jeep in Westborough retiring only 3 years ago. He is survived by 3 sons; Daniel Tortora of Charlton, John "Skipper" Tortora of Westborough, Jay Tortora of Oxford, 2 daughters; Anna Marie Tortora of Westborough, Elizabeth Mott of Worcester, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 1 great granddaughter Allison Tortora. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 12:15 p.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery in Westborough. Visiting hours at the Britton Summers Westborough Funeral Home, 4 Church St. will be be held on Friday morning from 11:00-12:00.
